Our Toronto Trip

We spent the last weekend in July in the beautiful city of Toronto.  We celebrated my sister's birthday there and we also took in a couple of baseball games as the Detroit Tigers were playing the Blue Jays that weekend.  I found the people of Toronto to be extremely friendly and the city to be safe and inviting.  We explored the city from one end to the other.  The waterfront is beautiful and offers beautiful shops and entertainment.  The Jazz Festival was getting underway while we were there.  We also viewed the city from the top of the CN Tower.  What a wonderful experience that was!

The views from the CN Tower were amazing!

  2. Thank you Linda for the kind words! If you ever get the chance to visit Toronto, you will love it! It's on the expensive side but if it's only a long weekend trip it's not too bad. I love their city transportation. We parked our car and took the subway, streetcars and buses. We bought a day pass for $10 (covered 3 of us) and rode any type of transportation all day long.
