I have so much to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day! I am truly blessed with the most loving family and I thank God that we are all healthy and able to spend this day together. Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
O God, when I have food,
help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work,
help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a home,
help me to remember those who have no home at all;
When I am without pain,
help me to remember those who suffer,
And remembering,
help me to destroy my complacency;
bestir my compassion,
and be concerned enough to help;
By word and deed,
those who cry out for what we take for granted.

I am very thankful that I will spend this Thanksgiving day in the company of my husband and two sons. I am also thankful for all of my extended family that are lovingly in my thoughts today. I will be quite busy in the kitchen for several hours; I'm thankful too that I have a kitchen to be busy in. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving in the company of family and friends.
