Our Christmas

I haven't been online much.  It's been nice spending my time with my family.  Before the holidays, Walt was working 60 hours a week, 7 days a week.  He has been home and it has been wonderful.  We have been enjoying quiet mornings, movie marathons, afternoon naps, and a short trip to our trailer.  It has been one of the most relaxing Christmas holidays that I can remember.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and morning.  We went to the Christmas Vigil mass on Christmas Eve and afterwards headed over to Walt's sister's house for dinner.  She had so much food!  I brought an electric skillet full of Spanish rice.

Do they match or what?  LOL..the didn't plan this but it made for a  picture.
Matthew and his girlfriend, Kristen.

Ready..Set..Open gifts!

My niece Olivia and Lindsay

Me and Lauren
Christmas morning was so much fun.  Lauren and Corey arrived around 8am and was with us when we all opened our gifts.  After we opened gifts we went over to my sister and brother in-law's house for our traditional Christmas morning breakfast.

Before
After..LOL!

Walt made a cozy fire before the kids woke up.

Table is all set for our Christmas breakfast!
Walt enjoying a cup of coffee before opening gifts.

Second round of opening gifts!

Lauren and Corey shocked me with a Coach handbag!   It is so beautiful!
Lindsay gave me a chalkboard for our kitchen.  I haven't stopped using it!
It didn't look like we were going to have a white Christmas but the snow started falling Christmas Eve and this is what we woke up to!

Buddy and Scooby thinking it is much nicer inside than outside..LOL
It has been a wonderful couple of weeks.  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families and I wish you all the very best in 2013!

  1. Love all of your photos, Kris. I especially like your Christmas morning table and the fire in the fireplace. Your handbag is lovely and matches your present blogger background.

I've certainly enjoyed my time off and have probably spent more time than usual on the internet. Wishing you and yours a happy healthy 2013! I'm getting ready for the countdown!

  6. Everything and everyone looked beautiful for your Christmas. Christmas for me was at my daughter's in Florida....a lot different looking out from her Lanai than from my balcony window in Michigan. It was a joy to watch the grandson's opening their gifts on Christmas morning. Happy New Year Kris!
